Do I need to be a Pick up Artist?

Popularised by the book by Neil Strauss, The Game brought picking up girls into the mainstream. Since then, things have changed a lot.

The Game was about how Neil Strauss did it, often using tricks and lines to get girls. Reading palms, magic lessons and a whole host of other stuff.

Becoming a pick up artists was what people were talking about.

We don't like the term 'pua'. For me, it describes something seedy and underground. It's creepy.

The fact is that you need to be a man who is on a journey to discover stuff about women and yourself.

Like anything, you will get better the more you do this. You can't expect yourself to be good immediately.

So, in some sense, you do need to be a 'pua' - if that's what you want to label it.

What is game?

Yad, from daygameblueprint said it best...'Game is everything you do BEFORE you meet a girl.' Your whole life is 'game'.

Game just so happens to be the label put upon picking up women. We don't particularly like this name either! You can't please us ;)

But, to be good at game you need to live a fully rounded life. You need to be calm and be able to be present, in the moment and try and be your best at all times. You need confidence and you need self belief.

Rarely will an interaction with a girl go well when you are very anxious (unless you snap out of it quickly), you need to be at peace with yourself, in a playful mood with full intent of why you are speaking to this girl.

Do you need to be a PUA to get a girlfriend?

The fact is, you kind of do.

You need to be able to approach a woman at any time, when you like her. You need to know how to seduce her to bed. You should treat every girl the same and have the same approach whether you want her as a girlfriend or not.

The true universal facts of getting a high quality girlfriend are:

You need to date as many women as possible so that you know what you want in a girl.

You need to still date other women when you are sleeping with the one you like so you don't get too needy and so that she sub consciously knows that you could leave her at any second. This makes her want you more.

You need to date more women to prove to your mind that you can do it and you don't need any one girl.

You need to date give any girl you are interested in a 3 month 'trial period' to see if they are consistent in their behaviour before you even think about becoming exclusive with her. As above, you should date other people during this time.

You need to become the buyer, not the seller. This means you need to date multiple women simultaneously.

Are we getting our point across?

Think of a typical hot girl.

She has a massive social circle, guys are going to be trying to get with her all the time. Guys approach her all the time, she has so much abundance.

You have to match this or the balance is all wrong.

If she is the first date you have been on in months and you have no other dates lined up, unless you are in a really good place mentally and emotionally - you are going to completely fuck it up. Sorry for the news, but you are.

Stop the bullshit mentality that you have to stick with the next hot girl that you go on a date with and that 'she is the one'.

Beauty is abundant. You should being trying to fuck her as much as the last girl you fucked, probably drunk on holiday or something. Don't give her an extra leeway because mother nature blessed her with exquisite breasts and a peachy ass.

Okay, you've got an erection now - sorry about that.

The thing is, you need to use this boner power when you are with the hot girl. Don't cave into your shell of insecurity and un-belief that you should wait. Just go for it. Enjoy the rejection you get, it means you went for it - you can't live life in regret all the time.

Fuck that.

There are products reviewed on this site which will refer to 'game', being a 'pick up artist' and that is fine. It doesn't mean you have to be one and neither will I look on you badly if you decide to become one.

Ultimately you are the one that makes the decision to invest in your future with women. Is there anything more important? Probably not. You should associate your career/finances, women and your freedom all on the same level - none one more important than another, that's what gives your life balance.

Commit yourself to becoming better with women just the same as you do with something else in your life.

You might put 1000% effort into playing football, or golf, or tennis or your job. Take that intensity and apply it to this part of your life.

All it requires is effort, persistence and having a little bit of compassion for yourself.

It doesn't matter what age you are.
